  • City, state, and country

  • Fishing locations you enter or save (for example, a city or lake name)

  • Preferred weather conditions

  • Fishing lures/baits or techniques used and type of water body

We do not automatically collect precise GPS location from your device.

3) How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the App

  • Create and manage your account (if applicable)

  • Personalize content and results based on your saved locations and preferences

  • Respond to inquiries and provide support

  • Improve the FishCaster app, including using aggregated and/or de-identified data to refine our weather algorithms

4) Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not disclose your personal information to third parties.

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request

  • Protect the security, rights, or property of Strategic Fishing Systems, our users, or others

  • Enforce our terms or investigate potential misuse of the App

5) Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Provide the App and its features

  • Improve and maintain our algorithms and services

  • Meet legal, accounting, or compliance obligations

When no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify the information.

  • Delete saved fishing locations and preferences within the App

  • Request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

8) Children’s Privacy

FishCaster is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9) Changes to This Privacy Statement

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the App.
